This is an unofficial blog created for the faculty members of the Department of Economics at the University of Peloponnese, Greece. The title of our blog, “Proeconomia”, is a Homeric word that stands for an event that symbolically foretells a much larger one to come, like “Signs of the times”. We hope that our posts and discussions will raise awareness about current economic & policy events and will indeed practice “Proeconomia”.
