An extremely interesting link and the associated paper about the use of “carrots” and “sticks” in economic policy. The ideas presented are very relevant to the current tax system and situation in Greece, where we have lots of “carrots” (tax deductions) but the enforcement of “sticks” is practically non-existent (rampant tax evasion).
