Although one cannot verify the extent of the numbers, according to this news post (in Greek), the total amount of money withdrawn from Greek banks that has remained in Greece is about 50 billion euros!!! We have about 11 million residents so divide this figure by 4, to make a family proxy, so as to have say about 2.5 million families. The amount stashed is then 20 thoushand euro per family, or roughly the 2011 estimate of our GDP per capita in euro. With no further comments, make your own conclusions about the true distribution of such an amount by connecting the dots from all other posts!
